10月9日（木）から12日（日）の4日間、千葉県千葉市の幕張メッセにて「さあ、行こう！GAMEの時間です。」というテーマで、出展社数209、出展小間数は過去最大の1768小間、出展タイトル数は過去最多の879タイトルという規模で「東京ゲームショウ2008」が本日から開幕します。

後半2日間は誰でも入場可能な一般公開日となっており、ファイナルファンタジーやドラゴンクエストの最新映像や各ゲームメーカーの最新作・未公開新作が公
