Step1：煙をつくる

1300×780ピクセルの新規ドキュメントを作成します。
背景を黒く塗ったら新規レイヤーを作成して「テクスチャ」と名前をつけて、qbrushes.netやbrusheezy.comなどのサイトからグランジなブラシセットをダウンロードしてテクスチャを塗ります。

塗った後に、テクスチャの上でCtrl＋Tを押してマウスを右クリックしてから、「遠近法」を選択して、テクスチャの上側を狭くします。

テクスチャに遠近がついたら、縮小します。

大きなソフトブラシを使ってテクスチャの端を消して背景となじませます。

テクスチャのレイヤーを複製したら、縮小、回転させて配置します。

テクスチャをもう一度複製して、右側に配置します。

Step2：テキストをつくる

テキストを入力します。
好みに合ったテキストを使います。
今回はここからダウンロードして使います。
テキストのレイヤーを設定します。

Step3：テキストをぼやけさせる

テキストにレベルを変えた効果をつけます。
テキストレイヤーをさらに2つ複製したら、レイヤーの不透明度を調整します。

それぞれのテキストレイヤーを少しずつ移動します。

すると次のようになります。

Step4：テキストの端に輝きを加える

テキストレイヤーの端に輝きを加えます。
（3つのテキストレイヤーの中の1つの）テキストレイヤーに選択範囲を読み込みます。

選択範囲内でマウスを右クリックしたら、「作業用パスを作成」を選択します。

許容値を「2.0ピクセル」にします。

テキストの周囲に作業用パスが作成されます。
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]ペンツールをクリックしたら、作業用パスの上でマウスを右クリックして、「パスの境界線を描く」を選択します。

5ピクセルのハード円ブラシを選択します。

「強さのシミュレート」を有効にします。

パスの境界線を描きます。

Step5：煙に光をあてる

テキストの下に光を加えてテクスチャになじませます。
すべてのレイヤーの上に新規レイヤーを作成して「光」と名前をつけたら大きいソフトブラシを使って1度クリックします。

光のレイヤーの縦側を圧縮してテキストの下に移動します。

ワープツールで光の形を整え、テクスチャのカーブにフィットさせます。

Step6：テキストに影を加える

テキストに影を加えます。
すべてのレイヤーの上に新規レイヤーを作成して「影」と名前をつけます。
テキストレイヤーのうちの一つに選択範囲を読み込み、選択範囲を黒く塗ります。

Ctrl＋Tを押して右クリックしてから、「垂直方向に反転」を選択します。

影が立体的になります。

「ぼかし(ガウス)」を設定します。

影のレイヤーを移動してブレンドモードを「ソフトライト」に変更します。

Step7：くねくねのラインをつくる

すべてのレイヤーの上に新規レイヤーを作成します。
「アブストラクトライン」と名前をつけたら、[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]ペンツールを使って次のようにランダムにパスを描きます。

調整する場合は、Ctrlを押しながらアンカーポイントをドラッグします。

先ほどと同じ設定で（5ピクセルのハード円ブラシ、「強さのシミュレート」を有効に）パスの境界線を描きます。

アブストラクトラインにレイヤーマスクを加えてテキストの背後の線を隠します。
（ヒント：マスクを手早く加えるには、一番上のテキストレイヤーの選択範囲を読み込み、レイヤーマスク上でマウスを左クリックしてから、「編集」－「消去」を選択します。）

アブストラクトラインの一部を隠すレイヤーマスクがつきました。

アブストラクトラインのレイヤーを何回か複製してもう少し効果をつけます。
（複製したレイヤーではレイヤーマスクを無効にして、深さを変更します）

Step8：色の調整をする

完成に近づきました。
仕上げるには、レイヤーにもう少し調整を加えて色と光のコントラストを微調整します。
次のように設定しました。
カラーバランス

Step9：完成

チュートリアルではここまでで完成ですが、
